Gull 4000 Flat Plate Solar Collector For Heating Swimming Pools in Residential and Commercial Installations |
Quality Construction The Gull 4000 is an extruded aluminum collector plate with copper piping. Collared joints are used where water passages and manifolds join. The joints are copper-brazed for material compatibility and strength. Individual fins are integrated into a single unit through a special interlocking feature for maximum strength and integrity. Velvet black, temperature-resistant paint of the highest quality is used to provide a tough, absorbent finish. |

High Efficiency Design Vertical fins provide a greater effective absorber area by intercepting sunlight approaching at shallow angles. Large manifolds maximize the flow rate and improve flow distribution, increasing collection of available heat. A special silicone-based heat transfer compound maximizes heat transfer from the absorber plate to the copper tubes.

Attractive Appearance The Gull 4000 is an architecturally pleasing unit for both aesthetic and practical reasons. The solar collector panels become an important exterior feature of distinguished residential and commercial structures. The superior materials and craftsmanship which give the Gull 4000 a longer, trouble-free life also give it the distinctive look of quality. |
